Human Centered Design Foundation Course

This course is intended to provide an overview of Human Centered Design.

  • Design Introduction, will focus on what Design is, and what processes and methods may be involved.
    • There is a short test after the Design Introduction. The test is intended to aid your learning and will not count towards your course mark.
  • Human Centered Design Introduction, will focus on what Human Centered Design is, when it is relevant to be applied and what other frameworks, processes and methods may be involved.

  • Human Centered Design Selection for a Project, will focus on the rational and logic that should be applied to determine if HCD is relevant to a project and in what form it should be established.

  • Human Centered Design Planning Introduction, is a critical task that will have a full course, however it is important to understand at a high level what is required to set up a HCD Project.

  • Human Centered Design Introduction Summary, is a final review of the terminology, structure and factors involved in determining the use and planning for a Human Centered Design project.
    • There is a test after the Human Centered Design Introduction Summary. The test will decide your course mark.
    • The pass mark is 80%, students who pass will receive a certificate.
    • Students who do not pass will be able to re-do the course once free of charge.
